Private (Self-Pay) Home-Visit Nursing
A nurse at your home, even without insurance
For people who cannot receive, or need more than, home-visit nursing under insurance. Our nurses visit your home on a self-pay basis. 16,500 yen per hour (tax included).
When you cannot receive home-visit nursing under insurance
Some people cannot use public health insurance or Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI), need more visits than insurance allows, or cannot get the doctor's written instructions required for insurance.
Our private home-visit nursing is available for them too. We decide the time and number of visits together with you and your family.
What we can do
- Health checks (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, breathing)
- Medication management
- Medical care such as suction, home oxygen, drips and pressure sores (care that needs a doctor's instructions is done after consulting your doctor)
- Help with wiping the body or bathing, advice on eating and drinking
- Advice for your family
- Extra visits on top of insurance home-visit nursing
Fees (tax included)
- 60 minutes (most chosen)
- 16,500 yen per visit
- 30 minutes (minimum)
- 8,250 yen per visit
- Other lengths or numbers of visits
- Please ask us (275 yen per minute, tax included, as a guide; minimum 30 minutes)

Please note
This service is not covered by public health insurance or LTCI; you pay the full fee.
Please tell us the name and contact details of your doctor and medical institution in advance, so we can report to and receive instructions from the doctor if anything happens. For care that needs a doctor's instructions, we may ask for written instructions from your doctor (document fee paid by you).
The nurse's role is medical care. One nurse alone may not be able to do assistance that needs physical strength, such as transfers; we may ask your family to help.
