Psychiatric Home-Visit Nursing

Mental health care that begins with "nice to meet you"

You do not have to carry it alone. A nurse will listen at your own pace. We start with a free consultation visit.

About

We value the first meeting

Having someone new come to your home makes anyone nervous. Our nurses take their time, listen again and again, and share your worries and difficulties with you.

We will listen as many times as it takes until you feel understood. From there, we think together about what we can do.

Our Promise

Three things we value

01

Slowly, without rushing

Anyone is nervous at a first visit. We listen again and again and ease the tension little by little.

02

Understanding the reasons

Anxiety and fear have reasons. Without forcing you to talk, we stay close to your feelings and build trust.

03

Doing what you can, together

Instead of deciding "you can't," we think together about methods that suit you, such as a medication calendar.

Case

People we support

01

Case 1: Someone who was always tense meeting people

They felt others did not understand them and always sat stiffly. We listened repeatedly without rushing, and over time they asked, "May I sit more comfortably?" and we could talk in a relaxed way.

02

Case 2: Someone afraid of hospitals and white uniforms

Because of past painful experiences, they were afraid of doctors and white uniforms. We started by talking about their interests and left a note with the next visit date. They came to wait for our visits with peace of mind.

03

Case 3: Someone anxious about managing medication

They had only been told to "take it" without explanation. We organized the medicines together and used a medication calendar (morning, noon, evening, bedtime) so it is easy to see at a glance.

Flow

How to get started

01

1. First greeting

We start with a free consultation visit of about 60 minutes at your home. You can consult us even if you do not yet have a doctor's instruction form.

02

2. Setting the schedule

We decide visit days and times to fit your daily rhythm. If your support counselor tells your doctor that you would like HOPE for home-visit nursing, the process goes more smoothly.

03

3. Visits begin

We visit based on your doctor's instruction form for home-visit nursing. We can also help with procedures such as the certificate for medical support for outpatient psychiatric care.

Fee

About costs

Psychiatric home-visit nursing is used under public health insurance.

If you use the Medical Support for Independent Living program (outpatient psychiatric care, "Jiritsu Shien Iryo"), your co-payment is in principle 10%, with a monthly cap depending on your income.

We can help you with the application for the beneficiary certificate. We will explain the details before visits begin.
